A Friend does most
or all of these...
Accepts you as
you are
Believes in
"you"
Calls you just
to say "HI"
Doesn't give up
! ! on you
Envisions the
whole of you (even
the unfinished
parts)
Forgives your
mistakes
Gives
unconditionally
Helps you
Invites you over
Just "be" with
you
Keeps you close
at heart
Loves you for
who you are
Makes a
difference in your
life
Never Judges
Offers support
Picks you up
Quiets your
fears
Raises your
spirits
Says nice things
about you
Tells you the
truth when you
need to hear it
Understands you
Values you
Walks beside you
X-plains thing
you don't
understand
Yells when you
won't listen and
Zaps you back to
reality
A friend of mine
sent me this little
ditty the other day
and I thought it was
appropriate for
telling one all
about what Garden of
Friendship stands
for. Thanks, Cindy.:)
You will find on
this page all the
expressions of
friendship that I
have received from
my "friends" from
the Garden.

The Garden of
Friendship is a
wonderful, wonderful
place to belong to.
Its a community of
people from all over
the world, from all
walks of life, who
have gathered
together to begin
friendships, to
support, to love, to
laugh, to cry,
and to just be.
When I joined the
Garden, I was given
my proud members
banner, which I
display with pride.
I was also given
lovely welcoming
gifts from some
people, which I also
display with pride,
because it shows how
warm and loving and
accepting the people
from the Garden are,
and I treasure every
single one of them.
When I first joined
I was so overwhelmed
with all the
kindness and
unconditional
friendship. I did
not think I could
live up to all of
these wonderful
people, that I
couldn't be as
unconditional as
these people seemed
to be, however, it
came easy. I
did not think that I
would ever be any
good at a committee
or be able to
participate in one
but I was wrong
there also.
I have made some
wonderful GOF
friends( my internet
friends my husband
calls them lol) and
feel very blessed to
have met the people
I now call
friends. Below you
will find the
welcomes I received
and then a list of
pages of things that
I have been given .
They are all very
dear to me and I
show them with
silent gratefulness.
